Typical coaching topics involve improving active listening and skills of cognitive empathy, nonverbal communication, and ability to resolve conflict and manage challenging conversations. Tutoring in Motivational Interviewing skills is also a common choice due to its effectiveness in improving treatment adherence and patient outcomes, as well as organizational change.

How long does coaching take?

Learning new communication skills takes practice. Each session will bring new insights and new experiments to try out. Most professionals feel six to eight sessions effectively helps them reach their goals, but customized options are available.
